Indian rapper Vivian Fernandes, better known as Divine, has taken the hip-hop world by storm with his raw and powerful lyrics that shed light on the realities of life in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Rising to fame in 2013 with his hit song "Yeh Mera Bombay," DIVINE's breakthrough came with the release of "Mere Gully Mein" featuring Naezy.

After gaining attention at the Blue Frog Festival in 2014, DIVINE signed a contract with Sony Music India, propelling his career to new heights. Collaborating with DJ Nucleya on the album "Bass Rani," he earned the prestigious Best EDM track of the Year award in 2015. His solo single "Jungli Sher" in 2016 vividly portrayed the struggles of the underprivileged in Mumbai.

Continuing to wow audiences, DIVINE collaborated with Nucleya once again on the track "Scene Kya Hai" and featured on "Daru Daru" with Deep Jandu and Gangis Khan. In 2017, his solo single "Farak" dominated the Indipop charts, solidifying his status as a force to be reckoned with. He also made waves with his feature on Raja Kumari's "City Slums."

In 2018, DIVINE's career took a new turn as he terminated his contract with Sony Music India, releasing a remix of Lil Pump's "Gucci Gang" called "Gully Gang." Shortly after, he unveiled the intro to his highly anticipated album "Kohinoor," with the full album dropping in October 2019. In the same year, DIVINE released the documentary film "Gully Life - The story of DIVINE," showcasing his remarkable journey.

Adding to his list of accomplishments, DIVINE signed with Nas' Mass Appeal Records and Universal Music India in August 2019. He also founded Gully Gang Entertainment, a record label aimed at discovering and nurturing hip-hop talent in Mumbai. The Gully Gang Cypher collaboration in May 2019 showcased the incredible talent he has brought together under his label.

DIVINE's musical journey continued with the release of his albums "Kohinoor" (2019) and "Punya Paap" (2020), both receiving critical acclaim and further cementing his position in the industry. In 2019, the documentary "Gully Life: Story of Divine" aired on the Discovery Channel, providing audiences with an intimate look into his life.

Proving that his artistry knows no boundaries, DIVINE has recently released several Hindi songs, including 'Chorni' in July 2023, 'Sitara' in June 2023, 'Level Up' in January 2022, and 'Chal Bombay' in December 2021. These tracks continue to showcase his versatility and his ability to captivate listeners with his lyrical genius.
