Kailash Kher is not only one of the most loved Indian artists internationally, but also among the most respected for his modest and inspiring lifestyle. He was born on the 7th of July, 1973 in Meerut and his parents moved to Delhi, few years after his birth. Throughout his formative years, Kailash was influenced immensely by the spiritual music of his father and the mellisonant and ariose culture of rustic and folksy surroundings he grew up in. As a youngster, he was influenced by Pandit Kumar Gandharv, renowned Indian classical singer. Coming from a conservative family, Kailash pursued his love for music as a hobby, but did not see it as a career option until quite some time, dabbing between various businesses and trying to make a living and sustain the passion for music at the same time.
