Sonya's musical journey started when she was 17 years old. Music being her passion, djing came to her naturally. As young budding talent she started mixing tunes for her friends at private parties. Seeing the success of her work she was confident that it was time for her to make a career out of music.As the famous saying goes,"the rest is history".
Joining the predominately male industry was not a cakewalk, but Sonya was persistent to carve a niche for the non-existent Female DJ's in the country. Her motto was to play for the audience and therefore she decided to make commercial music her strength.After long hard practice sessions and sleepless nights, she started getting gratifications not only from the people she played for, but also the city's renowned DJ's and the work started flowing in.
Still not satisfied, she pursued training in the art of mixing and event management.
Today Dj Sonya ranks as one of the best female Dj in Delhi, with numerous performances to her credit.Once she started playing at clubs, she shared the console with many famous celebrities such as-Dj Nasha, Punjabi MC, Bally Sagoo, Juggy D,Rishi Rich, Dj sunny singh, Dj kiran, Dj aqeel, Dj Ivan and the list is endless.
