Their second album, Fossils 2, released in 2004, shattered records as it became known as the Bengali band album with the highest budget. This album showcased the band's growth and experimentation with their sound, further cementing their status as trendsetters in the industry.

In 2006, Fossils released their third studio album, Mission F, which marked another milestone in their career. This album served as the theme album for the first Kolkata Police Friendship Cup Football Tournament, further highlighting the band's versatility in different creative domains.

One standout track from Mission F was "Aeka Nauo," a special dedication to HIV positive people, featuring the renowned Usha Uthup. This collaboration showcased Fossils' commitment to using their platform to address important social issues and uplift marginalized communities.
