Rakshanda Khan is an Indian model, television actress and anchor recognized for her portrayal of Mallika Seth in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Tanya Malhotra in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Roshni Chopra in Kasamh Se and Naagin Sumitra in Naagin 3.
She acted as the villain in the popular series, Kasamh Se on Zee TV. This is another Ekta Kapoor’s masterpiece from which she gained fame after bagging the role of Roshni Chopra. She was also part of the Balaji Telefilms’ mythological series, Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki on 9X. She did a special appearance in the Hindi series, Naaginn on Zee TV. Rakshanda also acted as Ms. Pratigya, a prosecutor in the courtroom drama series, Adaalat on Sony TV. She essayed the role of Parminder Kaur who is a cleanliness freak in the comedy serial, Ammaji Ki Galli on SAB TV. She also acted as Phulwa’s (played by Sargun Mehta) lawyer in the drama series, Phulwa which was aired on Colors TV. Rakshanda bagged the role of the bold and beautiful, Madinike in the mythological drama series, ‘Devon Ke De…Mahadev’ on Life OK. She was also famous for doing a pivotal role in Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga and a cameo role in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
