Her natural beauty and sexy figure with above average height helped her to get noticed soon. MTV took notice of her pictures and approached her for the show. She turned out to be the winner of MTV Model Mission 2. She started her career in modelling for brands such as Titan watches, Pepsi, Nokia etc. Popular professional photographer Anand Seth was the one who did her 1st fashion feature photo-shoot.
Film producer Pooja Bhatt gave her first break for her acting career in her movie ‘Paap’ in 2003. She was then offered Bollywood movie’ Zeher’ and the movie gave her the name and fame, making her a star overnight. She was then seen in the movie ‘Aksar’. She appeared in a special role in ‘'Dil Diya Hai'. She was also featured in Ahmed Patel’s music video for 'Kya Khoob Lagti’ with Upen Patel. Later she worked in few more projects such as Aggar, Kisse Pyaar Karoon, Fox, Helloo India, Chase, Apartment, Rokkk, Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai, and Diary of a Butterfly. She has been active in social work and had performed for 'Sick Kids Foundation'.
