About Timothy Patrick O'Neill
Born with enduring, character-features, and a natural born instinct to perform for the camera, Timothy always pictured himself in a feature film. A native Californian, Timothy instantly gravitated to the Horror/Sci-Fi genre as early as he could remember with aspirations of becoming an actor like Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney. His toys even included a Creature from the Black Lagoon resin figure. Born September 14, 1956 in San Jose, California, it was obvious that Timothy couldn't wait to get into the world and started day one with drama, as he was born in the back seat of his parent's car while in route to the hospital. Being born outside of the hospital required Timothy to be placed in pediatrics instead of the main nursery, as to not possibly infect the other newborns. At age 8, the family moved to Redondo Beach California where Timothy attended Parkway Elementary and then South Torrance High. After graduating high school, Timothy decided to take a road trip to Northern California and ended up in Lake Tahoe, California for 12 years of skiing and working at the Heavenly Valley Ski Resort. Returning to Los Angeles in 1989 and getting involved within the Commercial Real Estate Business, Timothy still had dreams of acting. He remembers looking out from the lobby of a Wilshire Boulevard building at an acting school, directly across the street and repeatedly telling himself "one day."Never happy with his 9 to 5 jobs, Timothy finally made the move, and enrolled in Richard Brander's Acting School in Studio City. Strapped financially, he eventually had to quit the school but was willing to take any acting part available. Working late nights until 1:30am at LAX as a ramp agent and baggage handler, Timothy would work the next day, with little or no sleep to answer whatever parts he could find. Low paying, or free, student films and general background. Timothy was grateful for every opportunity to act and had bit parts in such shows as "NCIS, The Good Son" and Clint Eastwood's feature film "Jersey Boys", as well as music videos and Doritos spec commercials. Finally, landing a pair of small dramatic parts, the dream still lives on with the completion of two full length films; "Voodoo", playing the character of the evil Uncle Jake, and "The Cursed Man", playing the character of the psychotic neighbor Ralph....
