Teisha Speight grew up in Wilson, NC, where she lived with her mother and brother. This is the place where her passion for acting started to grow and develop. Teisha discovered her love for acting at an early age but was afraid to pursue it as her profession. She demonstrated her strong love for sports by participating in soccer and cheer-leading at the age of 14. Given her energy and enthusiasm, Teisha joined and participated in various high school and college organizations where she managed to overcome her fear of the camera and decided to pursue a career in acting.By taking acting classes, participating in workshops, and attending showcases, Teisha managed to embark on her dream of becoming a professional actor. She did all these while pursuing her Biology Degree at NC State University. She then left college after completing her junior year to become a full-time professional actor.Teisha made her first TV debut through an episode in Investigation Discovery's Fatal Encounters, which gave her a quick start in her career. Throughout her time in this industry, Teisha has appeared in various TV shows, feature films, web series' commercials, including Dynasty on CW and Atlanta on FX network. Despite her busy schedule, she continues with her training while striving to inspire others through her acting. Teisha is a passionate lover of outdoor activities. She enjoys hosting events and friends and spending time with her 2 dogs....
