About Teck
Malaysian-born director Teck is known for her out-of-the-box creativity and her boundless positive energy, on and off the set. Living the true underdog story of a girl who grew up in a third-world country, then in and out of foster care before being adopted at the age of 18, she is now pursuing her passion as a film director and actor. Since graduating from University, Teck has worked her way up through the ranks in virtually every film department, from assistant directing, to gripping, to art directing, to editorial, always demonstrating a relentless work ethic and unwavering commitment to each project.She also cut her teeth in front of the camera with dramatic and comedic roles, as well as stunt work. Teck played Elyse in Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carson Story (2021). She has also directed numerous short films: Break Free (2021), RideShare (2021), and many music videos.
