Tazito Garcia is a multi -award winning actor and director known for his roles as Axel in the award winning action-comedy First Bust (2015) and General Sevchenko on the Machinima series, Battlefield: Divided we Stand (2015) based on the sixth-best-selling video game franchise "Call of Duty". Garcia is also known for his intricate Hong Kong style fight scenes as well as his sheer heroic screen presence and charisma.The Briefcase (2011) was Garcia's big-screen debut in Hollywood, as the director and star of the film. It earned Taz several nominations and awards, notably the "Breakout Male Action Star"(2013) at the AOF International Film Festival in Los Angeles . Since then he has appeared in countless productions internationally including action/comedy First Bust (2015) earning him the title of "Male Action Performer of The Year"(2015), and Lost in the Pacific (2016), one of the largest Hollywood/China co-productions. Garcia was the sole Canadian actor selected to join the international cast alongside Brandon Routh- Superman Returns, Russell Wong- Romeo Must Die, and the Vincent Ward -Walking Dead. Garcia's continual devotion and unsurpassed passion for film has recently been recognized as the youngest recipient of the "Icon Award" (2016) presented by the legendary Dr. Bob Goldman and Michael DePasquale Jr. in Los Angeles. As a pro athlete, Garcia prides himself in performing all his own action scenes and stunts. This martial arts champion is also a great supporter of countless charities that include The Sick Kids hospital, Support for Cancer treatment, and Jackie Chan's Dragon's heart "Build a School for a Dollar Program". Taz's goal is to always strive for self improvement and continue being a positive role model for young generations.Garcia was born on November 20, 1984, in Madrid, Spain where he grew up as an elite athlete and performance was second nature. While growing up to mixed parents, the multilingual Tazito traveled around the world with his family and often solo while playing professional soccer for the "Red Devils" (Manchester United) and professional tennis (ATP JRs).Garcia also earned his first dan black belt in the late 90s where he also competed in full contact karate, kung fu, greco wrestling and later trained in the art of capoeira. The Toronto based actor began acting when he was much younger, appearing in many TV commercials and his first theatrical role as "Anubis" in King Tut (1995). However, after moving to Toronto in 2002, Tazito has pursued his acting and modeling career more seriously, landing him several appearances on television shows, print work and major productions while balancing out his university degree. Taz majored in Hospitality & Tourism management and minored in business and psychology.Taz has also tried being on the other side of the camera and has several accolades as a director.
