His first film, a drama 'How It All Went Down' was critically acclaimed and won best picture at the 2003 Queens New York Film Festival. In his second feature film, 'Shut Up And Shoot!', Silvio worked with Joe Cortese, Gary Busey, Tom Sizemore and James Russo in this black comedy. The film won Best Picture at the 2007 New York Hip Hop Film Festival and was nominated for Best Picture and Best Director, the same year, at the California Independent Film Festival.
