Shani Drake is an American actress, filmmaker and singer. Recent roles include Alex in the horror feature Mermaid Down (2019), Kara in Odyssey Omega (2020), Suzy in Enemy of the People (2020), and Kaley in Tango of Imaginary Friends (2020).Shani attended film school in Seattle where she studied acting, writing, and directing for the camera. In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles. She booked a role in the first film she auditioned for and hit the ground running from there. Landline, a surreal short, is her directorial debut. Her scripts have ranked in screenplay competitions such as Blue Cat and Screencraft. She is behind the production company Lamaguchi Studios (IronHeart, Star Kids).Vocalist and multi instrumentalist, Shani plays piano, guitar and violin. Her voice and style have been described as peaceful and atmospheric. She is currently recording her debut album with Lost Goddess Records....
