About Philip Delancy
Born of a French mother and English father, Philip has dual nationality and is bilingual in English and French. Having obtained a scholarship to The Haberdashers' Aske's School, Elstree he was awarded an RAF Flying Scholarship, learning to fly aged 17. He then worked as a flying instructor, airline pilot, VIP Handling Agent for the rich and famous, legal interpreter, encyclopedia salesman and customer service manager before becoming an actor in 1994. In 2003, Philip set up a project to help disaffected young adults at a local school with their interview and personal impact skills. He is working towards publishing his memoir Blue Sky, Red Carpet....
