About Omri Shenhar
Omri Shenhar was born in 1982 in Haifa, Israel. BA Honorary Graduate of the Film & TV Dept. in Tel Aviv University. His two short films Last Respect & Apartment with garden entrance were screened in dozens of festivals worldwide. Over the years Shenhar wrote and directed dozens of Ads, Video Clips and sketches, including the most viral video in Israel in 2014. Shenhar also wrote and directed short TV shows for the Israeli kid's channel.In 2019 Shenhar co-created and wrote Magpie, a TV crime drama for Yes Original. The show received critical acclaim, winning the best Screenplay in Berlin Series Festival, and lately was renewed for a second season.In 2020 Shenhar co-created and wrote Tehran, an espionage thriller television series for Kan 11. On June 16, 2020, Apple TV+bought international rights to the series outside of Israel, and will serve as the exclusive streaming home to the series worldwide....
