About Nick Mercer
Nick Mercer was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, and trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He has appeared in several of the Uk's long-running TV Sitcoms, and as a character presenter in Children's Television. As a voice artist he has worked extensively for BBC Radio, and voiced scores of animation and puppet characters, including all the voices in 200 episodes of Blue Cow for BBC TV. He has played Timon in The Lion King Musical since 2005 - for six years at the Lyceum Theatre (London), also in Basel, Switzerland (2015), and currently (2021) on the Lion King International Tour....
