Young Armenian artist Narek Nersisyan was born May 21, 1988, in Yerevan, Armenia. Being a very artistic and creative person, Narek decided to continue his education in Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema and realise his dream of being a great actor as he had desired since childhood. Being still a student he started his creative activity at the State Comedy Musical Theater named after H. Paronyan in 2010, he quickly became one of the leading actors of the theater. Narek has acted in many famous plays which also participated in the worldknown festivals such as Gdansk Shakespear Festival where his collegues and he presented one of Shakespear's plays - The Twelveth Night.For the role in the monoperformance "Lucien Luc" (by French playwright Marcel Mithois "L'accompagnateur") performed in 2011, Narek Nersisyan was awarded the most prestegious Armenian Theatrical award "Artavazd" as the best young actor of the year. The monoperformance has drawn the attention of many festival's organizers from all over the world and also the attention of France Embassy in Armenia which supported Narek to play it in French. Finally,in May 2012, Narek presented "Lucien Luc" in French and had a great success.His educational background allows him to compose music for many theatrical performances, as he finished Sayat Nova Musical School and was a member of the best choirs of Armenia "Hayastani Poqrik Yergichner" ("Armenian Little Singers") for many years.Since 2006, Narek has played in several feature and short films which participated in the most famous and prestigious film festivals all over the world, such as Berlin International Film Festival, Pusan International Film Festival, Sundance International Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, etc. /see more in filmography section/Narek has been played a leading role in a new film-project which drawn the attention of many producers abroad. The World Premiere for the film will take place in the Gothenburg International Film Festival 2014.In winter 2012, Narek was the first Armenian actor who participated in Berlinale Talent Campus. It is a creative academy and networking platform which also offers a huge variety of programme elements for Actors, Directors, Cinematographers, Editors ect. It gives a great opportunity for talented people from all over the world for exchanging experiences with Experts. Narek Nersisyan was born on May 21, 1988 and is an Armenian actor and a composer, best known for the mono-performance "Lucien Luc" - orig. L'accompagnatear (The Accompanist) by French playwright Marcel Mithois.Narek was born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia and is the grandchild of a USSR Academy Award actor, Babken Nersisyan. His father, Mamikon Nersisyan was a language specialist and mother, Zhanna Markosyan a TV program director.Narek attended Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema in Yerevan, Armenia.
