About Miatta Lebile
Miatta Ade Lebile is a Nigerian American actress who was primarily raised in Texas. She spent much of her younger years living overseas, first in France, then in Chad, and then finally, Niger, before her family moved back to the United States. She has traveled all over the world, from Kenya, to Hong Kong, to Thailand, to the Canary Islands.Although Miatta is currently an actress, she originally began her career as an opera singer, earning her B.A. in Music from Cornell University, and then earning a degree in General Management. (Mainly so she didn't have to sleep on her parents' couch.) After a few years of both working full time and and acting on stage in the evenings , Miatta moved from the corporate world to acting full time, making the move to L.A in 2015.::Miatta Lebile
Nigerian-American actress Miatta is coming off a busy year, having performed in roles in the new feature, Mailman, executive produced by Gus Van Sant, and shorts Of Mine and ROBOTTY (Directed by David Mamet's daughter, Clara Mamet). A trained singer, she was recently chosen by Academy Award winners, Director Bill Condon , Composer Stephen Schwartz, and Producer Dan Jinks to perform new, original music as part of a pitch presentation for an upcoming movie musical. Additionally, she is also an alum of the 2016 NBC Diversity Showcase. You can see her as the spokesperson in the commercials for Drivetime....
