About McKenzie Tice

Born in Lakewood Ranch, FL, McKenzie is a FL native, which in itself is unique. After spending many years in dance including hip hop, jazz, and ballet at various studios throughout Sarasota, Bradenton, and Ellenton, McKenzie found her passion for acting on a small stage during a middle school production of "The Totally True Story of Hansel and Gretel." While only having a small part as "Misty", one of 3 fairies, she developed a passion for theater. She began acting lessons with Jamie McPeek of Sarasota and began searching out other opportunities in the area, leading her to Barbizon. She graduated Barbizon in 2019 and signed with Katatlyst Agency that same year. As a freshman in high school, McKenzie landed a part in a school production of "Fiddler on the Roof" and was one of only 5 freshman involved in the cast of 25. When not on stage, McKenzie's passions are still in the arts. She has been a member of her high school concert band since 7th grade and is also involved in high school concert choir. Both have received high ratings at MPA (Music Performance Assessments), band an Excellent and choir a Superior; the choir has also participated in Disney EPCOT'S acclaimed Candlelight during December 2019. She is an avid reader and movie watcher and excels in school, especially English....
