About Maite Urrutia
Maite Urrutia was born in Bilbao, The Basque Country (Spain). She started her acting career while she was getting her English Degree by the University of the Basque Country. She played Cherubino in "The Marriage of Figaro" with The Theater and Dance Basque Company and she starred several roles in the plays "Bullets Over Broadway", "Fear and Misery of the Third Reich", and "The Tempest".She moved to Madrid (Spain) to improve her acting skills at the Corazza Acting Studio, and then moved to Mexico City (Mexico) where she has starred several theater plays, shorts, and she has appeared in some films too. Maite is in constant training, having attended workshops with Cornelius Horgan, from the Actors Studio, and Luly Rede, from the University of London, both in Mexico City.She has also worked as a writer and producer, both in theater and film, being the mini series "Cindy y Maite" her most ambitious project she has written so far....
