About Kristina Laum
Retired American professional wrestling valet known for her work in ECW as Kimona Wanalaya in 1996 and in WCW as Leia Meow from 1999 until the promotion closed in 2001. Raven (Scott Levy) discovered her working as a stripper at a club where he had a side gig as a DJ and got her a job with ECW as his valet. The name Kimona Wanalaya was a pun ("Come on, I wanna lay ya"). She took Beulah McGillicutty (Trisa Hayes)'s spot in Raven's Nest after Beulah turned face and sided with Raven's archenemy Tommy Dreamer after announcing she was "pregnant" with Dreamer's "baby." At "ECW Hostile City Showdown 96," April 20, 1996, Shane Douglas told Dreamer that Beulah was never pregnant and that she was cheating on Dreamer. Dreamer asked, "Who is he?" Douglas said, "It's not a 'he', Tommy Dreamer!" Kimona then said, "It's me!" She and Beulah then walked toward each other and kissed. Dreamer separated them, and then told announcer Joey Styles, "I'll take them both I'm hardcore!" and all three kissed at once. While she remained a face aligned with Dreamer and Beulah for the rest of her run, the lesbian angle was dropped because Beulah had objected backstage to having to portray a lesbian. At "ECW Hardcore Heaven 96," June 22, 1996, the ring broke during the Tommy Dreamer-Brian Lee (Brian Harris) Weapons Match, and the crew needed some time to fix it for the Sabu (Terry Brunk)-Rob Van Dam main event. ECW boss Paul Heyman told her to go up to the stage and do a striptease. Although Heyman promised that they wouldn't film it, they did and it was included on the "Extreme Warfare Vol. 1" VHS release. This was her last appearance for ECW. She spent some time in the independents before resurfacing in WCW as Leia Meow, the cheerleader/valet for the reunited Varsity Club (Kevin Sullivan/Mike Rotunda/Rick Steiner) at WCW Starrcade (1999). After that was abandoned, she was repackaged with a dominatrix gimmick as the valet for the Jung Dragons (Kaz Hayashi/Yun Yang (Jimmy Yun)/Jamiesan (James Gibson)). After WCW closed, she retired....
