Kenny Yates is an actor and feature film producer and director. He has been working in the film industry since 2004 and has worked on a wide variety of projects including feature films, web videos and commercials.He started his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor on the Daytime Emmy winning PBSkids show Zoom. He appeared on 80 episodes over two seasons. He got his first gig on the 20th Century Fox/Regency film Date Movie. He continued as Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer's assistant on Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans & Vampires Suck. He was promoted to Associate Producer on Friedberg & Seltzer's film Disaster Movie, and then bumped again to Co-Producer/VFX Supervisor on their films The Starving Games & Superfast! Kenny has continued his acting with small roles in each of Seltzer & Friedberg's movies.He has also worked on other feature films such as "Best Night Ever" (associate producer), "Law Abiding Citizen" (asst. to F. Gary Gray) & the best picture nominated film "The Help" (asst. to Tate Taylor).::Anonymous
At the tender age of 34, Kenny knew that he wanted to work in movies. So he jumped in his DeLorean punched in 1998 into the time circuits and 1.21 "Jigowatted" himself back to middle school. Once there, he secretly mentored his younger self through middle school and guided him to pursue acting.From this risky endeavor, Young Kenny made his way onto a Boston-based PBS show called Zoom and after serving two seasons on that show Young Kenny was forever diagnosed with an incurable form of the acting bug.Young Kenny went on to work in many productions, behind-the-camera. His production gigs include spoof movies, action blockbusters with Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler and Oscar Nominated films and such.Since traveling back in time, Older Kenny has withered away and now lives somewhere in upstate New York in a log cabin, in solitude, with a dog named Greg. He is now a vegan.From this time traveling adventure so long ago, Young Kenny has now reinvigorated his love for acting and has started working with his current producing partner Kipp Tribble.From what we can tell , the only drawback to this shift in the space time continuum is Avocado Toast and the Kardashians....
