Kayla Moore is an actress. At the young age of 6 years old, Kayla started experiencing the"entertainment" industry. In 2010, she placed 2nd alternate at the Miss Alabama USA pageant. Shortly after,she went to work with RPM Productions Inc. During this time she continued her modeling career, and after working in national campaigns,magazines, and runway shows; decided it was time to go after her passion for acting.Currently, Kayla's time is spent filming, taking weekly acting classes, modeling, and blogging to help inspire and motivate others. When she is not working you can find her coaching other models, volunteering for numerous charities, and using the public speaking skills she polished through communication studies to spread a message of hope. Kayla was recently nominated for Birmingham's Most Beautiful People in 2014.::SheIsMore
An adorable tiny sun that powers a miniature universe; a phrase that best describes Kayla. Her passion for acting started at a very young age. Back in the day, captions weren't an option while watching a film for the hard of hearing. In order for Kayla to fully understand what was going on; she would rely on the body language, reactions, & reading the actors lip's. This was how she also learned to communicate with her peers.Small town beauty queen from Dothan, AL but spent most of her adult years in Birmingham, AL. She placed 2nd alternate at the Miss Alabama USA pageant in 2010. Shortly after, she hung up her pageant shoes to work alongside with RPM Productions, Inc. During this time she continued with her modeling career, and was invited by Auburn University to judge the casting calls for their modeling board in 2012 & 2013.This unexpected wildflower; started working in the film industry by signing with a Nashville agent then later signed with an Atlanta agent shortly after making the move to Atlanta, GA. Meanwhile, Kayla wrote her story for the first time on a well known website called SheisMore and it was very successful by gaining thousands of shares worldwide in under 24 hours! Due to the success of her story, she is a contributing writer for SheisMore. The city of Birmingham voted Kayla as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful People of 2014.Miracle Baby. The story behind a shining example of inner strength and beauty. At 13 months of age, Kayla both fought and won a tiring fight against a rare childhood cancer. She walked away completely healed from her battle against neuroblastoma cancer,stage 4 that accounts for 15% of childhood deaths. The chemo did cause her to lose half of hearing. In addition, Kayla was constantly bullied growing up. "The kids used to call me names like Deaf Girl, due to my hearing impairment, "she says. She uses the strength to push herself forward and continue excelling in her career or pursuing her goals regardless of the challenges she may face.Kayla is quickly gaining attention for her speaking and/or communication ability.
