About Juan Carlos Arvelo
Since 2001 he has acted in national television commercials, short films, feature films, and as a voice recording artist. Most recently, he plays the guest star role of Gabriel Jean in the FX television series, Snowfall. With his voice, he also performs additional voices in the Oscar-winning film, Spider-Man Into The Spider Verse and in West Side Story. His performance as Rolando Cubela in the film Ché: Part One, starring Benicio del Toro, stands out. In 2020 he plays the leading role in the musical, Calle de la Resistencia. In 2010 he received the 'Outstanding Achievement in Film Award' from the UNESCO Youth Commission. For his role in the film, Darwin's Thoughts, he received the 'Distinguished Young Actor' Award at the Cinefiesta Film Festival.
