Josey Smith is an American SAG-AFTRA actress born in New Mexico on May 10, 2006. Her acting career began at 8 years old getting cast as a background actor in two different movies in 2014. Since then, she has been cast in commercials for Homewood Suites and Blue Cross Blue Shield. In 2016, she joined SAG-AFTRA after costarring in the hit television series Preacher. She has booked multiple principal roles including a role in the film Ideal Home, starring actors Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan.Josey already has a solid foundation of training which she is constantly strengthening.She has trained with Casting Director Angelique Midthunder who has been nominated for an Emmy and Artios award. Angelique is known for many films including Hostiles and Longmire.Kathryn Brink has provided training for Josey. She has been in the industry for over 30 years and is a local NM and international Casting Director. She is known for Rent and The Longest Yard.Josey has trained with Faith Hibbs-Clark who is known for casting over 3,000 local and international films, television shows, and commercials over the past 20 years. She is known for Transformers and Jarhead.Stephen Burhoe is an acting coach who has trained Josey. He started in California and owned an acting studio in LA. He eventually moved to NM to continue his 25+ years in film.Josey has starred in Peter Pan at the Missoula Children's Theater and has modeled for large companies including Dillard's, Presbyterian Health Services, and "Albuquerque the Magazine".Most recently, Josey stared as Young Anna Christina along side Billy Zane, Christopher Plummer, Tania Raymonde, Jan Uddin, and Raza Jaffrey in the film Cliffs of Freedom.Josey is a bright young lady who is full of positive energy and strong determination. She easily stands out from the crowd with her joyful smile and sought after looks. Directors love how easily she is able to be silly one moment and serious the next.
