About Joanna Lipari
Joanna Lipari, Psy.D. was born in New York. After graduating from Manhattanville College with a degree in English Literature, she studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City with famed teacher Sanford Meisner. She received a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2004 from Pepperdine University. Dr. Lipari completed her post-doctoral fellowship at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She has been on faculty at both Pepperdine University and UCLA for several years.::A. Nonymous
Joanna Lipari, Psy.D. (AEA, SAG/AFTRA) was born in New York. After graduating from Manhattanville College with a degree in English Literature, she studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City with famed teacher Sanford Meisner.She is a founding member with Mary Steenburgen and Pam Kareman, of Cracked Tokens at Manhattan Theatre Club in NYC. She appeared off-Broadway and in regional theatre before coming to LA. Pacific Resident Theatre credits include 5 Second Chances and "Rhinoceros" (LA Times Critics Choice and Critics Circle nominee). At Rogue Machine Theatre: "Luka's Room" and several Rant&Raves. TV credits include General Hospital, Rockford Files, Head of the Class, Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, China Beach, The Practice, Chicago Hope, Raising the Bar and Persons Unknown. Film credits include Honeymoon in Vegas, JoJo Dancer, Your Life is Calling with Richard Pryor, and extensive voiceovers on Star Trek films/TV sequels. Recent credits: Netflix's Spivak and Stellar People."Activities of Daily Living" is Joanna's one-woman show which debuted at the Kahilu Theatre, HI, and then started a tour beginning with Sierra Madre Playhouse when COVID shut it down. This summer, ADL has been invited to perform at Scotland's Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August 2022. Joanna plans to resume is her tour in theatres in the US and Europe....
