Jeremy moved more into television in his 30's with roles in Vanity Fair and cult show The Smoking Room (BBC) then in his 40's into major feature films such as Gosford Park, Amazing Grace, Oliver Twist, Fred Claus and Jupiter Ascending. He is known internationally for his role in Downton Abbey, in which he played Mr. Spratt (Maggie Smiths butler) and Foyle's War, in which he played Glenvil Harris.
