Jaswant is an Award-winning actor, and a six-time Emmy nominated Documentarian from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Jaswant is the first Nepali/American to receive such an honor.He is also a Founder/CEO of Creative Heights Entertainment, a boutique production company in Los Angeles where he actively works on various projects from Pre to Post-production.A five-part Docu-series he produced and directed called "Festivals" was acquired by Discovery Channel and had a prime time release every weeknight at 9 pm on Discovery Asia starting November 17, 2021.So far, two episodes (Festival Of Tihar) and (Festival of Gai Jatra) have earned him two Emmy nominations, "Outstanding Director for a documentary" from the National Academy Television Arts and Sciences.Shrestha has won three Telly Awards and dozens of international film festival awards with various projects worldwide. He is also the first Nepali Actor to be signed to the Screen Actors Guild of America. Jaswant's first Best Actor Award win was in 2014 at Blissfest333 in Denver, Colorado, for his role in the short film "The Treason." In addition, Shrestha has won dozens of International awards with various projects worldwide.He has appeared in a Facebook commercial called: "The First Date." and shot a national commercial for Dell Technology, directed by Noam Murro from the movie 300 - Rise of an Empire.Born in Nepal, Jaswant discovered acting at a very young age and was ambitious to be a professional actor when he grew up. He studied acting at the world-famous "The Beverly Hills PlayHouse" in Hollywood. With a passion for learning all that he could about the film industry, Jaswant started his career as an assistant director working with numerous Film Directors in Bollywood. In 2000, he returned to Nepal and started working as Music Video Actor and Director for the Nepali Television channel and different music labels. He formed his own production company, "Team Work Film Production," in Nepal and has been part of numerous commercially successful projects.Jaswant recently wrapped a new thirteen part Travel/Culture exploration TV Series, filmed in Portugal, Untitled....
