Janelle is the Artistic Director of Ellipsis Tree Collective, an Alberta-based Afrocentric performance society dedicated to the professional development and production of creative work by POC Artists. Most recognized for her extensive career in Canadian Theatre, Janelle has most recently been celebrated for her portrayal of 'Sofia' in The Canadian Premiere of 'The Color Purple' musical, presented at Neptune Theatre, Citadel Theatre and Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre in 2019....
