About Gisela Adisa
Gisela Adisa is an American actress born of Caribbean and West African immigrants. She played Sandra in the U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic award winner, 'Nanny', which premiered at Sundance '22. Current and upcoming projects include working with Mario Van Peebles on the Starz Network hit, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, a role on the HBO Max Pretty Little Liars reboot, as well as a role in Jigsaw (Netflix) and another for a network series. She will also voice characters for 2 animated series by Dreamworks TV and Netflix. Gisela was a series regular in the now covid-paused comedy series 'Upcode', which won Best TV Pilot at both the 2021 Tokyo Short and the Roma Film Festivals. She also played the lead in the award winning film, 'Shield'.She's been featured on Broadway, on a Broadway national tour and at several critically acclaimed regional theaters, such as the Geffen and Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
