About Gabriel Scruggs
Gabriel R Scruggs Jr. was born on August 16, 1987. He is an actor known for For My Man (2015), Criminals at Work(2016), Evil Twins(2012) and House of Cards(2013). He discovered his passion for acting at the young age of 13. He perfomed in short skits in Junior High and was offered the opportunity to perform at a arena in front of 1,000s of people. Doing skits was a fun hobby for him. At the age of 15 his passion for peforming ignited. At that moment he left private school and then enrolled in at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts in 2004 to study theatre. Shortly after graduation he made his theatre Debut in The Lion King: The Musical (2007) at The Arena Players Theatre Company. Then Gabriel went on to perform in more plays such as Oliver: The Musical (2009) at the Milburn Stone Memorial Theatre. In August of 2011 he majored in Theatre Performance at The Community College of Baltimore County. Within that same year he landed a principal role in The Charles Dickens Classic: A Christmas Carol: The Musical (2011) at Musical Artists Theatre Company. He recently made his transition from stage to screen in 2015 where he made his film debut on Netflix Hit Series: House of Cards (2013) where he appeared in three episodes. Then a month Later he landed a role with Sonset Friday Entertainment where he played a bookstore customer in the Christian Comedy Love Different (2016). Then shortly after he landed a role on Investigation Discovery in the true crime series documentary Evil Twins (2012). In December of 2015, he landed a feature role on BET Television. He landed the role of Mike on the new hit crime series Documentary Criminals At Work (2015). Some of his training include Arena Players Summer Theatre where he studied acting, music and dance and Italian Voice I. His favorite hobbies are training at the gym, hanging out with friends and going to the movies. His favorite past-times are going camping, canoing and taking flying lessons at Martins State Airport....
