About Evan J. Simpson
Evan Jacob Simpson was born on Chicago's South Side. His drive for success strongly shows through his work ethic and ability to tap into different forms of art. Evan began his training as an Acting major at the Chicago High School for the Arts in 2014. In the Summer of 2017, Evan made his professional debut on stage performing the musical In the Heights, playing the role of Sonny, on the Broadway scene in Chicago, Illinois. The summer prior, Evan organized an entertainment commutations business, MoshPit Entertainment Group, leading into his work on his first Feature Film, "BEATS", which made its steaming debut for the platform, Netflix. Evan has since studied at the prestigious Theater School of DePaul University where he planned to receive his BFA for Acting in 2022, but left to further pursue his desired profession, booking three short films, even gaining honor and wisdom, working under Nia DaCosta and Jordan Peele, in the Monkeypaw Production, Candyman....
