His association with Tamil movies started in 1996 when he entered the field of distribution for Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu. During this period he has distributed numerous including famous films like Nesam, Abhimanyu, Eazhayin Sirippil, Parattai Engira Alagu Sundharam.Dheeraj eventually ventured into the production of Tamil movies in the year 2005.
