About Delia Florea

Delia Florea is a theatre and film actress based in London and working internationally. She was born in Iasi, Romania and her mother is an emergencies doctor and her father an engineer. Passionate about arts and literature from childhood, she presented her early poetry at the local radio and appeared in fashion shows before having her first contact with the film industry at 21, when scouted by an agent while working in Los Angeles for the summer. Serious about her craft, Delia graduated from the Academy of Theatre and Film Bucharest ( UNATC ) with a B.A .and M.F.A. degree and, during her studies, started working at The National Theatre Bucharest.After establishing herself in London and while continuing her studies, Delia signed first with a modeling agency and after booking a series of film roles she was picked up by her current Film and TV agency - Miles Anthony Associates; she studied as well for one year at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts ( RADA ) and is a British Academy Of Stage and Screen Combat Member.She appeared as well in numerous commercials, fashion editorials and music videos. An avid traveler and adventurer, she wrote and produced shows based on her travel journals, inspired by cultures and traditions from all over the world. She writes fiction and non-fiction and speaks four languages. She is also a writer/ producer and has a second bachelors degree in Finance. She co-founded her theatre company and film production company and took on diverse projects, from working with communities or artists with disabilities to taking on Art and Activism projects across the world.An actress of great versatility, Delia has continued to flirt with multiple identities over the years. From Shakespeare to modern, edgy characters, she is taking risks with her acting choices and always going the extra mile to give a realistic interpretation, showing a real inclination towards the most powerful and confident ones....
