Darren Lake is a British actor and singer best known for his stage work, playing the leads in shows as varied as Sweeney Todd, Bye Bye Birdie, Little Me and Cyrano De Bergerac and for principal roles in The Secret Garden, Oliver!, West Side Story and for playing the dual roles of Jekyll & Hyde in the musical of the same name.In 2015 he toured the UK in Creative Cow's production of A Christmas Carol playing The Ghost Of Christmas Present. In 2016 he won rave reviews originating the role of Colin Dale in brand new play The Secret Life Of Dads, written by playwright Jarek Adams.His screen acting debut came with Hawk(e): The Movie (2012), in which he also appears on the soundtrack. He plays the title character Lionel in Killing Lionel, due for release in 2017.He was awarded the Highly Commended Individual Performance Award at the Barclays Awards, held at the National Theatre's Queen Elizabeth Hall in London....
