As part of the Film Forte he also created the National Independent Film Association and the NIFA Awards to honor independent films and music as well as industry luminaries.In November 2019 Davies was included, via his film (co-writer/co-star) West of Thunder, in The Encyclopedia of Best Films (A Century of All the Finest Movies) by Jay Robert Nash.Davies' film (co-star) A Trip to Jamaica premiered on Netflix worldwide Dec, 13th 2019. It became a Top Ten Most Trended and Popular new Netflix addition for the month of Dec, 2019Davies is a recurring guest on RTHK Radio Television Hong Kong's Mental Ideas Podcast heard throughout Hong Kong and China on RTHK Radio 3. It premiered on April 2, 2020 and the subsequent 12 episode series has a variety of celebrity guests.
