About Cassiel
Cassiel is a fresh composer and vocalist for film, television and games and lives in California. At the age of 17, when she was known by her birth name, "Britlin", her voice was noticed by Grammy-award winning composer, Eric Whitacre, who then became inspired to create the first "Virtual Choir" (as seen on YouTube and Ted Talks). Cassiel has been a lead vocalist on several movie soundtracks starring celebrity talent.As a composer, her sound is a hybrid of alluring synth rhythms with soaring strings and human voices, usually centered around French, impressionist piano. Her music can be described as always in partnership with both light and dark, soft and strong, and hope over fear. She's a one-woman show, composing, recording and producing on Cubase all in the comfort of her at-home studio.
