Brady Martin is an award winning actor who was raised in the small town of Port Neches, Texas. Here he was taught that if you want something in life, you work hard for it and you go after it.Growing up in a small town, he was taught that you go to school, get a good, secure job, you work for a few years, and then you retire. Acting seemed so out of reach and like it was for those who came from a privileged background.As a young man, Brady always felt a bit different than those around him. Although he seemed confident, he struggled with feeling like a bit of an outcast and feeling a lack of self worth, because he knew deep down he didn't want to do what others expected of him. He wanted to do something different.He always felt safer when he could escape into the world of cinema. It was as it when he sat down to watch a movie, his cares vanished and he could be a part of something bigger; something as close to magic as we can get on this planet. For him he wanted more than to just watch, but to take part and be involved with making movies; with the ultimate hope that one day he could give that same experience away to others who watch his work.However sitting in Texas is a long way away from acting in movies. He still had doubts at the time about whether he could actually make it work or not as a career. So, while sitting in his local movie theater on a day like any other, he was looking up at the screen and it dawned on him just how many actors are actually needed to make projects, not just stars. Why couldn't he at least try and be one of them? Sure it would take a lot of work, but so does every other career path. He decided this was what he was meant to do, and he took the biggest risk of his life, and moved to Los Angeles.Brady moved to Los Angeles with nothing but a dream and a couple dollars in his bank account. By the time he got to LA he had spent all the money he had on gas and food so there really was no returning home. He would either have to make it work or starve.During his first few weeks in Los Angeles, he slept in his car by the beach and would listen to the sound of waves crashing, and although he had no place to stay, he knew somehow it would all work out.After finding a job and a community of working actors, he was able to find a place to live.Brady has been in Los Angeles for several years since then, and has worked on many sets. He is pursuing his career and craft with full force. He still loves everything about it and doesn't regret the decision to pursue it for one minute. He regularly attends top classes and loves working on set whenever he has the chance. The dream, which at one point seemed so distant, is alive and well; and is slowly becoming a reality.Although it was a long road, he is now represented by one of the top Los Angeles management companies, and he regularly works on set, and auditions for major network and studio roles.He hopes to eventually be a household name and spread the message of encouragement to everyone that if you can dream it, you can achieve it. He believes it doesn't matter how big your goals are, if someone else has done it, why can't any of us?...
