Having completed A levels he attended St John's College, YorkIn 1982 on the cusp of booking his first BBC role he left the world of performance to join the Police Service.After twenty fabulous years he was medically retired and went on to work on a number of police related projects around the Country as a member of police staff.He returned to acting in 2015.
