About Ava Tolentino
Ava Tolentino was born in the Philippines and moved to San Francisco Bay Area. She grew up near Niles in Fremont, California. The youngest child of three.She graduated with a degree in the medical field, however, her heart was in the arts. After graduating, she started studying TV and film then decided to get into the theater.In 2017, she completed Contemporary Drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London under dramaturg Lloyd Trott with professors Jane Bertish (acting), Juri Nael (movement), and Zabrajad "Budgie" Salam (voice).Before going to London, she studied theater at Shelton Theater with Matt Shelton, A.C.T. with Drew Khalouf and Waterfront Playhouse with Rachel Adler, as well as TV and Film acting at First Take with Nancy Berwid and Hollywood film director, Katt Shea. Her credit includes the film Nika, an official selection at Woman Up Independent Film Festival. Winner of Best Director (Hollywood) at Festival of Globe 2017....
