Austin Ku is an American stage & screen actor, based in New York City. He trained extensively in theater and music, and is a 2021 Grammy Award nominee in the Best Musical Theater Album category.Austin Ku is originally from Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. At a young age, he began studying classical music (violin, piano, and singing). In college he studied classical voice (opera performance) at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, as well as Asian Studies (Chinese Culture, History & Language - he is conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese). Austin went on to obtain a graduate degree in theater (musical theater) at The Boston Conservatory (now The Boston Conservatory at Berklee). Austin also earned a law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law, and briefly practiced entertainment law before moving to New York City, where he is now a full-time performer....
