About Aurora Fearnley
Aurora was born in Kent, UK but grew up in Stockport, Cheshire. She is an Actor and Director who graduated The Northern Film School with a First BA Degree. Her career started directing and editing promos and commercials through her own company Little Northern Light and co-founded Production Company Left Eye Blind. While signed to Academy Films Aurora won the Epic award to direct short film "Life on the Line".International festival success helped Aurora take awards as Breakthrough Filmmaker for her short psychological thriller "Murmur", which was commissioned by Directors UK. Shorts International bought her UKFC funded supernatural short "Shades of Living", while her Sci-fi Nokia Short "Daniel" premiered at Edinburgh IFF.After winning The Pitch at Pinewood Aurora made ambitious sci-fi short film "Pulsar" starring David Gyasi "Interstellar" and Jessie Buckely "War & Peace", due for release in early 2017. Aurora is shooting short "Struck" by writer Isley Lynn with 104 Films producing.Aurora is developing Sci-fi feature "Tipping Point" with Jude Goldrei with support through Birds Eye View's Filmonomics, 104 Film's Digital Revolutionaries, Sheffield Talent Centre Programme, VFX Script to Screen Ireland, Screen Yorkshire's Triangle and EU MEDIA. Aurora Fearnley is a British Actor and Director.Raised in Stockport, Manchester, Aurora's mother was an ecologist before completing her PHD in animal behavior and genetics. Her father was a teacher for children with special needs and violent offenders. Aurora was writing plays and winning acting awards as a teenager and that tenacious focus has since cemented her as a highly regarded talent in the UK indie filmmakers circles, know for her excellence as a storyteller in many forms.She came to prominence as an actor playing recovery methamphetamine addict Rebecca in Mike Dawson's feature film Confession (2010). Aurora won The Pitch at Pinewood in 2014 and made epic sci-fi short Pulsar (2018) with David Gyasi and Jessie Buckley. Recently she has been winning awards as a breakthrough filmmaker with people excited about her debut feature film set to come soon....
