About Antonio San Miguel
Antonio San Miguel is a martial artist and experienced paid working actor. Even growing up in often harsh and gritty urban settings, he was often scouted for tv commercials and print ads. Just before his pre-teen years though, his dreams of acting and modeling were put aside to his martial arts training in which his family enrolled him in to instill some discipline. He thanks his parents for this decision as it kept him off the streets and to this day even credits the martial arts for saving him from a life of crime and violence. Since then, he trained diligently in several styles and quickly rose up the ranks to become an instructor in his early teens. During his mid-teens, he began competing in mixed martial arts and it wasn't long before he started competing with several organizations and amassing an impressive win/loss record with many KOs/submissions. During this time, he also began training in professional wrestling and quickly became a top light-heavyweight contender in several independent federations around the tri-state area. While touring with these federations under the name "The Young Dragon", he wrestled on the same cards featuring the likes of WWE legends Tito Santana, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, and The Iron Sheik to name a few. In his early 20s a shoulder injury nearly ended his career as a fighter and a wrestler. Refusing to give up, after recuperating "The Dragon" trained vigorously until he was able to compete again. Now experienced in several styles of martial arts, he put his fight career on hold to once again pursue his other love, acting and modeling. He was featured in Wrestle-America Magazine and MartialArtsConcepts.com, among other various publications. Some of his projects include, Fight The Panda Syndicate where he co-stars as the main villain, an Asian Mafia Boss named Xiongmao, Subject 87 where he co-stars as Detective Sanchez and he was also seen on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In between projects, he works as a freelance martial arts instructor who also offers personal training and massage therapy....
