About Angela Duffy
Angela Duffy was born in Warren, Michigan, and gained a passion for the stage and puppets from an early age. She attended Roseville high school, where she performed on stage and on-camera. Angela also started competing in forensics in Story Telling and Prose. After graduating high school, Duffy attended Wayne State University, where she pursued a fine arts degree in theatre. Angela performed from children's plays, Charlottes Web, and Shakespear to 'night mother. While in college, she started working in local commercials, short and feature films (Secrets of Fennville, After April). After finishing her degree, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, where she studied her craft with various acting (Eric Hunnicut, Mary Margrete Robinson) and voice-over teachers (Paulette Lifton, Mimi Maynard, and Jan Williams). She started to study Improv at I.O west and M.I Westside Comedy. From there, she took her passion for puppets and began studying with the late Micheal Earl (Mr. Stuffleupagues, The Muppets take Manhatten, Team America). After studying the art of on-camera puppetry, she began working on short films and performing live. Recently, Duffy has worked on stage with All Puppet Players.Since the start of her career, Angela Duffy has appeared in the film Marvel Zombies: The Movie 2008, Dire Wolf 2009, and Strange Nature, to name a few. Between Los Angeles and Phoenix, Duffy continues to work on her craft on camera or off-camera on the stage....
