About Amanda Jackson
Amanda Jackson was born and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois. As a child, she knew that she had a passion for performing arts and medicine. The second child of 3 girls, she set out to find her own journey. Amanda began participating in all of her church's programs and plays, elementary plays, and high school drama program.Since Amanda knew how important education was to her, she went to school and earned two bachelor degrees and an Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. In between school, she appeared as an extra in her first feature length SAG film in 2007. Amanda most recently landed a role in the web series "The Why" as Cindy, and is lined up for several more films. She has also done commercials, industrial videos and recently Graceland and Alvin and the Chipmunks, Road Chip, etc.She shares her knowledge of the acting business with fellow actors to help them in their careers. Her love for acting and helping others is a part of her personality. Her desire to act shows in the way she strives to do everything with passion and play particular attention to details.In the meantime, she has launched a photography company which has had great support from her peers. She is currently receiving coaching and training from Jammer Innovative LLC. She's looking forward to expanding her acting career. Her determination to build a career in the acting field will carry her a long way....
