When she and husband (Utah TV reporter) Chris Jones were expecting their first child, Amanda became certified as a yoga instructor to ensure that she could spend more time at home with their son. In addition to TV and yoga, Amanda's passion is blogging to help people become self-sustainable; creating happier lives and a more peaceful world. A graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Communication, Amanda has earned several journalism awards, including three from the Society of Professional Journalists.
