Over the years, music has transcended the barriers of continent and country, and made its way across the globe. Afroze is a band that draws inspiration from musical stalwarts the world over. The word Afroze means "one who spreads light? and the band hopes to enlighten the musical sphere and reach the souls of people across the world with a variety of songs.

Inayat Ullah Khan: Vocals
Inayat began his music training at the age of twelve under the able guidance of Mr. Jagmohan Joshi. He has been singing various forms of music since then. He has the natural ability to suit his voice to various forms of music. He later graduated and has been training in Carnatic music from Sri Vishwanathan.
Migma Gurung: Lead Guitar
A fan of John Mayer, he is a rock guitarist who also loves to improvise his skill. He adapts the style of Eric Johnson and Larry Carlton. Migma was associated with bands which include Advaita, Minus 9, Re-Incarnation, Naam, Purplehaze and Mukti. He has also worked as a session player in Delhi and was a music teacher at The Blue Note School in Delhi.
Amit Thapa: Percussion
Hailing all the way from Kathmandu, Amit is a drummer who likes and also plays every kind of percussion possible including the dgembe. He was a student of 'Nepal Sangeet Vidyalaya', where he later went on to work as the teacher's assistant. Amit, as a session artist, has played with almost every band in Kathmandu. He has played in a lot of major events including, Tuborg International Blues Festival, Dharan Mahotsav, the 'Visit Nepal and Darjeeling' carnival. Bands like Romantics, Antim Graham, Lochan ? A Solo Project, Euphony, Chaurasta and many more have been associated with him. Currently he is working as a Drums and Percussions teacher in 'Parikrama School of Music'.
Rigden Wangbu Yolmo: Bass Guitar
Deeply influenced by blues and funk jazz Rigden plays the bass, acoustic guitar, flute, cross harp, paino and drums. Entitled "The Best Bassist? in the Carnival Rock contest held in Darjelling, he has played with why? Brothers Band, Romantics, Fallen Angels, Advaita, Aghaaz and Prestorica.
Rigden has held a special distinction during school in 1999 as a guitarist and has been associated with a band which won several musical contests held all over Darjeeling and performed in different places including Nepal, Bhutan and Sikkim.
